ASADV stands for Advocacy Services for Abused Deaf Victims, Inc. Our mission is to provide support for Deaf and Hard of Hearing adults and their children who are or have been victims of domestic violence and or sexual assault. A safe environment of empowering, advocacy, and educational/training services will be offered to them. We believe it is empowering for them to see people like themselves in running the organization. The majority of our officers are women and Deaf. In this way, we act as role models for not only victims but also for the Deaf community. All staff, advocates and volunteers are fluent in American Sign Language.
